On behalf of the organizing committee of Romanian Corporate Sports, I would like to thank you all for attending the Fall 2012 edition of the "Golf Lifestyle Championship", which took place on 29 September at the BlackSeaRama Golf Club. At this edition we introduced new team and play formats, with 2 players in a team playing "Best Ball", which made it easier to form a team and allowing each player in a team to contribute to the final result.
I hope you enjoyed the high quality and relaxed environment that we strived to create around the tournament. Supremia Golf Cup reached its Fifth Edition

Supremia Grup will organize on Saturday, May 25th 2013, the fifth edition of a sport event that has already gained notoriety among golf players: Supremia Golf Cup.

Over 200 golf players and their supporters, from Romania and abroad, are counting down the days and hours until this event. Although all competitors are driven by passion for this sport and they are already winners just by their presence there, emotions will increase as the event approaches.

Supremia Golf Cup is an OPEN competition. All the players registered at a golf club belonging to the Romanian or International Golf Federation can take part at the tournament. To participate at this competition, players can register on the golf club website: www.golfclubpaultomita.ro or directly at "Paul Tomita" Golf Club. The competitors will line up at the following categories:  Premiul Brut SUPREMIA GOLF CUP, 1st Category, 2nd Category, "Lady" Category, "Juniors" Category.  Special prizes will be awarded as well for the Longest Drive and Nearest to pin.

Supremia Golf Cup is a registered trademark of Supremia Grup and is supervised by the Romanian Golf Federation. Supremia Golf Cup enjoys a high popularity among the participants, mass-media and local authorities. Since 2009, the event brings together the most important names from national and international companies, partners and collaborators representing the elite of amateur golfers.

"The Young and the Restless" wins the third edition of Golf Lifestyle Championship

The Young and the Restless team, formed by Nick Eftimie, CEO Navlomar Group and Razvan Marcu, Marketing Manager MARCOM RMC94, wins the third edition of Golf Lifestyle Championship. The event took place on September 29th   and, like previous editions, was hosted by BlackSeaRama Golf & Villas, a luxurious resort situated on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast.  

The podium was as follows:

First Place - The Young and the Restless team (Nick Eftimie, CEO Navlomar Group and Razvan Marcu, Marketing Manager MARCOM RMC 94)

Second place - B2B team (Calin Giurgiu, Giurgiu & Partners Managing Partner and Cornel Danila, Executive Vice President Covalact Group)

Following the success of its previous editions (24-25 September 2011 and 12 May 2012), Golf Lifestyle Championship is ready to start again on  September 29th, 2012 at BlackSeaRama Golf&Villas resort.  The competition is dedicated to teams formed of top company executives, embassy officials, and their guests, being effectively a high level networking event.

The Championship is fostering a spirit of fellowship-through-sport between participants. Off-course exchange of ideas will be encouraged through various golf and non-golf related activities as the event is also attractive for golf non-players, offering them introductory golf lessons, access to the tennis courts and SPA, etc.

Each participating company executive is free to invite guests (family, colleagues, business partners and clients) to support its team during the event. The Championship prize awarding ceremony and gala are creating a very special context where all participants (players and guests) can join together.

Each competing team is formed of 2 amateur golf players, having a free format composition. Every team should bear a name: it could be a company name or a generic one, as the team members decide.

Team: Each team is formed of 2 players, with 2 competing teams in each flight and scoring of one team being kept by the other team

Location: BlackSeaRama Golf&Villas, Balchik, Bulgaria

Duration: the competition will be held during one day, on Saturday, September 29th

Format: "2-Person Best Ball" tournament, with each player playing its own ball throughout the round, over a full 18-hole course.  On each hole, the higher (Stableford) of the two scores (the "better ball") by the players in a team counts as the team`s score for that particular hole.

Scoring: Stableford scoring system, considering ¾ of the HCP

Players: Players should be amateur players with a HCP 0-36, registered with one of the Clubs affiliated to any of the Romanian Golf Federation or International Golf Federation. The BSR Club may ask players for a proof of their HCP.

Special Prizes: Nearest to the Pin, Longest Drive

Registration: As it is an invitational event, only invited guests can play. However, all those interested to participate can send a message at corporate@mpg.com.ro

Golf Lifestyle, the only glossy magazine in Romania specializing in golf, is organizing every year the Spring and Fall editions of the Golf Lifestyle Championship, under the umbrella of Romanian Corporate Sports.
The Championship is dedicated to teams formed of top executives representing major companies and their guests, being effectively a CEO-type event. Each competing team is formed of 2 amateur golf players. Participation is by invitation or referral only.
Teams have a free format: 2 executives from a single company, or an executive and his guest, or 2 players (executives) from different companies joining together in a team. Each team should bear a name: it could be a company name or a generic one, as the team decides.
The Championship will benefit from the media exposure offered by Golf Lifestyle and the event management capabilities of MPG, the market leader for amateur sport events. MPG’s portfolio also includes BCR Open Romania, Romanian Corporate Sports, BCR Tenis Partener tournaments, a.s.o.

Celebrating the fourth anniversary of Golf Lifestyle magazine, MPG organized the first edition of Golf Lifestyle Corporate Championship - powered by Wilson. The event took place in Bulgaria, hosted by the BlackSeaRama Golf & Villas resort, during 24 - 25 September 2011. The 27 participants, most of them representing the top management of some of the most important companies in Romania, played in a relaxed format with family and / or friends.
Among participants (24 Romanians and 3 expats) there were: Liviu Sfrija, President Henkel Romania, Misu Negritoiu, general manager ING Bank, Constantin Marcu, general manager Marcom, Dan Pazara, communications director of Petrom, and Florin Segarceanu, Wilson's representative in Romania.
The first place was taken by one of the experimented teams, "Brand Pilot", consisting of Daniela, Liviu and Vladimir Sfrija. Second place was won by the "Marcom" team, formed by the Marcu family, and the third place went to the "Friends of Gamm", starring Kevin van Gamm, Ana-Maria Polosanu and Traian Aionitoaiei.

Some of the leading entrepreneurs and CEOs in Romania spent a great weekend (May 12 to 13, 2012) on the golf course, attending the second edition of Golf Lifestyle Championship. BlackSeaRama Golf & Villas, the luxurious resort on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast, hosted the competition.
The spring 2012 edition of Golf Lifestyle Championship attracted many executives and entrepreneurs active on the business market in Romania. If in September 2011 the start was taken by 9 teams, each formed by three participants, this year, their number increased to 13 teams of three or four players.
The first prize was won by the team Redki Ptitsi (Rare Birds), formed by Mirela Blasius (journalist), Robert Blasius (CEO Renovatio Solar BG) and Calin Giurgiu (Giurgiu CEO & Partners). In second place came Ad Garage team, consisting of Vlad Lazar, Florin Nistoroiu, Mihai Staicu (Auto Total representatives) and Dobrin Dancuta, and the third place was awarded to one of the most experimented teams, formed by Luminita Eftimie (CEO Hathor Impex), Nick Eftimie (CEO Navlomar Group) and Misu Negritoriu (CEO ING Bank).
